The Firm

Strategic counsel for complex worlds

Floryan Law was founded on a simple premise: Business owners, entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals and their families deserve counsel that operates with the same strategic rigor as their businesses. We’re not a general practice firm. We’re a focused team of advisors who understand the intersection of law, business, and legacy.

Our principals bring combined experience spanning AmLaw 100 partnerships, complex civil litigation, employment disputes, real estate transactions, and executive advisory. Every engagement is led directly by a founding principal—never delegated, never diluted.

Our Attorneys

Jaclyn Floryan

Founding Principal

Jaclyn is a seasoned employment attorney with seventeen years of experience advising employers, executives, and business owners on the full spectrum of workplace and compliance matters. Her practice centers on providing strategic, day‑to‑day counsel and serving as outside general counsel for clients seeking sophisticated, ongoing legal support.

Known for her precision, responsiveness, and practical judgment, Jaclyn partners closely with clients to develop clear, effective workplace policies, employee handbooks, and operational frameworks that reduce risk and strengthen organizational stability. She also oversees litigation strategy on behalf of clients, ensuring matters are handled efficiently and with the discretion they require.

Before joining Floryan Law, P.C., Jaclyn was a partner at an AmLaw 100 firm with more than 1,100 attorneys across 61 offices, where she represented Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies as well as high‑profile executives and C‑suite leaders in complex employment disputes and high‑exposure litigation. Her experience includes defending claims involving breach of contract, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage‑and‑hour issues. She has extensive experience handling class and collective actions, including representative matters brought under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).

Having built a reputation as a formidable employment litigator in high-stakes matters, Jaclyn now focuses her practice at Floryan Law on proactive advice, strategic counsel, and long-term client partnership — helping businesses and executives navigate complex workplace issues before they become disputes.

Jaclyn’s deep litigation background gives her a sharp understanding of the issues that expose clients to risk, and how to avoid them. Having spent years defending companies in high‑stakes disputes, she brings a rare dual perspective to her work with individual executives: she knows how organizations evaluate claims, assess leverage, and make decisions, allowing her to anticipate challenges and position her clients strategically from the outset.

Jaclyn has represented clients in mediations, arbitrations, and proceedings before administrative agencies such as the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE) and the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). She has presented on employment law topics and has conducted numerous management and compliance trainings, including sexual harassment prevention and human trafficking prevention programs for the hospitality industry.

Her approach is grounded in clarity, preparation, and a deep commitment to helping clients navigate sensitive employment issues with confidence and discretion. She understands that workplace issues often arise unexpectedly and require immediate attention, and she is known for responding quickly when clients need her most. She also recognizes that California’s employment laws evolve constantly, and she stays current on legislative and regulatory developments to ensure her clients remain compliant and well‑positioned in a rapidly changing landscape.
